New to Keto
Hi Everyone, I am new to Keto and not sure what I am doing. One question, does anyone eat fruit? If so, how much, how often? Also on this app, I wasn;t sure about how to enter my weight? Why is there a Start Weight and Today’s weight? I’m keeping track of my BMI on my scale. Also how do I synch this app with my Fitbit Blaze?

I can tell you I'm on keto. I didn't touch fruit until I was fat adapted. I now will only have a small portion of berries- and maybe once a week in the evening time if I have them on hand and if I feel like I need something sweet. I can go weeks without a berry. The point is with keto, to flush your metabolism at first of sugar- to turn it into a fat burning machine. you will eventually burn your body fat and your brain will run on this. Seems like a lot of people don't know what they are doing when starting keto, and it can be a difficult adjustment for many. Research online and read all of our topics. This entire forum is full of good advice. I researched on the internet and YouTube right before starting and for about three months. I actually still do. There are low carb followers and keto here. Think of Adkins induction period for the rest of your life 20 net- but I suggest not using their products if you want to have better success. They have been known to hinder some but can work for some also. Depends on how much body fat you want to take off. Larger like 50+ you may fair well, at first with the products.
You will first want to get at least the keto urine sticks at a local pharmacy In the diabetes department. Your first month or two should be turning them dark dark at times. If your not turning them at least a moderate pink, your not using your full potential of ketogenic. Also, there is ketogenic nutritional for overall health or ketogenic for weight loss then transition to overall health. Plan to stick with this is lifetime or I can almost guarantee you will gain back the weight almost immediately and then some.
Whole Foods, nothing in a package that's processed - lots of home made cookin', and when we go out to eat - I preplan what I'm going to have and how much or it can be a complete disaster. Keto flu- lets get you through that, starts in first few days or so and can last weeks for some. If you can survive that, your golden. Starting weight is somewhere in there, just have to tinker around with the app.

badmojomn yes! I love blue berries I can eat those like it was chocolate. But only indulgence in berries about once a month and only 1/4 cup to 1/2. I wish I could have them every day, like I did when I wasn't doing Keto. It was a joke in my office about me turning into a blueberry, lol
I also want to thank you for being there for all the dieters questions on the forums. There is Joanna too and you ladies rock!!!
