Thoughts on Maltitol ??

I just ate a protein bar that is supposedly low carb but I read that it has Maltitol in it and I’m freaking out !! It’s my second day of keto, will that do any damage ??😬

    Although I avoid maltitol, and it may (or maybe not!) have had a slight impact on your blood sugar, just look ahead to your next meal and keep making the best choices you can.  I'm sure eating keto will become second nature to you in no time.  I've only been following keto since January 4th and I'm still learning as I go.  Enjoy the journey - I'm loving the food I eat and how much better I feel.  Best wishes!

    I did the same thing at the weekend and although my stomach was definitely not happy, it did not throw me out of ketosis. I’m not going to repeat the experience though! Just keep on trying to make good choices.
