Days 1 & 2 in the books. My daily goal is to be under 10g Carbs, 50-75g fat, and 50-75g protein. Here is how it ended:
Day 1: 8g Carbs, 73g fat, and 19g protein. Weight morning Day 2: 259.2lbs
Day 2: 6g Carbs, 78g fat, and 75g protein. Weight morning Day 3: 256.6lbs
I feel good, no cravings, headaches, or sickness. I drink 1oz ACV with 1/2 lemon juice first thing in the morning, 2 cups coffee before lunch and 1 cup mid afternoon. I'm eating around 1pm daily.

Good Job! I started yesterday, I've done this before, but fell off the wagon. Gonna be good this time. I'm 160 lbs 4 11" I'm shooting for 125 or so. Down 20 pounds from my first go of this a year ago. My maximum carbs I have set for 20, but I managed to only use 8 yesterday but my protein was higher and I need to work on that. I'm on my 2nd cup of coffee and I'm not hungry yet, I'll try to go until noon or later for my first meal.

I am surprised that Dr. Berg is advocating a calorie goal below 1200 daily. From what I have read, eating less than 1200 calories a day can result in significant metabolic slowdown and inhibit weight loss.
So I went and watched his "keto on steroids" video. As usual, he is not counting the calories and carbs from a lot of the foods that he's recommending you eat. He's not counting calories or carbs from leafy greens, and he's not counting carbs from pecans, eggs, bacon, etc. So when he says zero carbs he doesn't actually mean zero carbs. He means zero carbs from dairy and processed foods. Dr. Berg's version of Keto is difficult to track on CM. CM is not going to ignore those carbs from healthy sources like greens and nuts.

Moondrake Thanks for your response. I've never been one to count calories, carbs, etc. I figured I'd try this and see what happens. I find it fairly easy to fast for 24hrs as I usually don't eat breakfast and sometimes skip supper. I'm not sure if I have been counting the carbs, fats, and proteins like I should but I think I'm close. Or at least I hope I am. Guess I will know more in a week or two.

You'll feel it soon...when all the glucose is out of your body. You'll need salt.
Just a tip, you might want to start eating 3 times a day with no junk between in the beginning...then when you stall eventually, you'll have somewhere to go... by removing breakfast giving you a 16 hour fast from supper the night before. That will jump start your weight loss again. The stall comes in around 20+ pounds lost.

10g Carbs, 50-75g fat, and 50-75g protein.I wish you all the best and all the fat loss you've dreamed of. I'm about 40 lbs lighter than you yet every calculator recommends 130g of protein for example - so all those number's times 2-2.5. But I guess this explains why you're loosing weight starting the second day... I gained a few... maybe.

Day 4: 2g Carb, 74g Fat, and 24g Protein. Weight morning day 5: 253.8lbs.
Had some night cramps last night but nothing a shot of pickle juice didn't fix. I started today off with my shot of ACV with lemon juice and a shot of pickle juice. Hope that will help with the cramps and slight headache today.

Hi Mark, I am new to keto but am a pro with muscle cramp relief. I make my own magnesium oil and it helps keep the cramps away. Since I am new not sure if I can post a link so I will post link and give you the recipe. I add peppermint oil or you can skip the fragrance all together. This makes enough to last a long time. The link is https://wellnessmama.com/5804/magnesium-oil/
- 1/2 cup magnesium chloride flakes
- 1/2 cup distilled water
- a glass bowl or glass measuring cup
- a glass spray bottle (this is the one in the picture above)
Instructions
- Boil the distilled water. It is important to use distilled to extend the shelf life of the mixture.
- Place the magnesium chloride flakes in the glass bowl or measuring cup and the pour the boiling water over it.
- Stir well until completely dissolved. Let cool completely and store in the spray bottle. Can be stored at room temperature for at least six months. I keep in my bathroom to use daily.

Day 4: 0g Carb, 5g Fat, and 76g Protein. Weight morning day 5: 252.6lbs.
I didn't get my fat in for the day but dang them crawfish were great!!! LOL I went to a local bar for a crawfish boil which only served crawfish, sausage, corn-on-the-cob, and potatoes. I ate crawfish and sausage. I was hoping they would have had salad but no. It was great and I don't think I suffered to bad. Not hungry today yet and hoping I'll fast until Monday around 1pm.

Week 1/7 Day results:
Starting weight: 265lbs
End weight: 250.8lbs
Overall weight loss: 14.2lbs
Eating was pretty easy and straight forward. I was having a hard time eating all the food by day 5, it's really noticeable how my stomach has shrunk (that's a good thing). I found on day 3 that drinking a 2oz bottle of pickle juice in the evening is helping with cramps. Overall feeling great, I have more energy, not waking up tired and ready for nap. I feel revived and am enjoying this diet or life style change as I see it.

Week 2/14 Day results:
Starting weight: 265lbs
End week #1 weight: 250.8lbs
End week #2 weight: 251.8lbs
Overall weight loss: 13.2lbs
I gained 1lb this last week. I chalk it up to being out of town and eating out every day. I still ate as healthy as I could, lots of protein and salads. I'm sure I was lacking in the fats department and stayed within my carb limit as best I could. So I'm happy with only a 1lb gain and will lose it this week. I'm starting the gym tomorrow with 3 days cardio and 3 days weight lifting. I believe I will see drastic results in the next few weeks. My goal is still to lose 1lb/day average.
