NTY cooks? Sausage and cabbage??

Hey all,

 

Anyone make that sausage and cabbage from NYT?  It just calls for a head of cabbage (4lbs worth) 2 lbs of good fresh sausage, and  couple of tablespoons (3 or 4, can’t remember exactly) of butter, cooked in the oven for 2.5 hours. But the Carb Manager says it’s an “avoid”...any ideas why???

    Not sure why it said avoid but did you specify a serving size?  Perhaps it’s registering the entire recipe.  Just a guess.  The recipe certainly sounds like a great low carb dish.
