New to keto, hoping for some help

Hi there! My name is Mersaydys and I am only on day two of keto. I have been researching this diet for three months now and unfortunately read a lot of different opinions on the topic. I am 5’ 4” height 29 year old woman and I’m at 167 pds. I want to get down to 145 where I am comfortable, I have read a lot of different blogs and articles surrounding the keto diet and I’m wondering if my macros would be good? I have them set at 25 net carbs a day, is that too much? Hope anyone can help me out ☺️

  • Probably better not to count net carbs but rather all carbs. Net carbs is a little deceiving.

    Hi  if you want to get into ketosis then under 20g is recommended by diet doctor etc

    Oh wow, luckily I have been having trouble hitting the 25g a day so I guess that’s perfect 🙂 I will adjust, thank you Karen

    Vickie I’m having trouble with keeping my protein and fat in the proper amounts but I only go over by a bit, I’m sure I will get better at it as I go haha thank you for the encouragement ☺️
