Higher protein recipes

I am having a really hard time getting my protein. Almost every recipe I read has a 3/1 fat to protein ratio. I don’t add fat to my diet and usually I am way below what I need for protein for the day. Could anyone steer me in the right direction? Or am I doing something wrong.

You don’t add fat? My first question would be.... why not?

Fat isn’t your enemy. As long as it’s GOOD fats. If you’re trying to go keto, don’t be afraid to add fat in order to keep your ratio of fat/protein/carbs intact.

have a salad. I like to make olive oil and vinegar dressing and add in some spices. Use Carb Manager to look up various foods and ingredients to see how they’ll impact your macros.

I’ve also discovered how much I like avocados:)

Use this app to help you, but like anything else don’t expect it to feed you. Heheh

You don’t need to “add” fats, so long as you eat fatty proteins and cook with fats you will be fine. You certainly have nothing to fear from fats. I can eat 5 slices of bacon and 3 scrambled eggs (organic butter added for yumminess) plus some mushrooms fried in butter and half an avocado for my first meal of the day. I tend to eat a loss less as the day progresses! Some cheese mid afternoon and some cold cuts (or steak or ham etc) and lettuce or fried cabbage for dinner and hey ho I am done.  Relax into this. I am now near goal 😋
