Most of those bars have artificial sweeteners and with that comes sugar alcohol calculations. There is some debate on how to count, or subtract, various sugar alcohols because of how some of them are digested or not. There is an article in the "Learn About Keto" section on sweeteners. I received a sample bar and ended up eating it over a few days just to be safe. Other than the free bar, I try to get my proteins through meat and fish.
