New to Keto

Hello everyone, started Keto a week and a half ago.  Things seem to be going well, fought through the Keto flu.  Can anyone input on the recommended calorie count I have been given?  I am 48, 245lbs and 5’10.  My goal is to eventually weigh 175-180.  I was always told to keep my calorie count around 1200 but this program is giving me 1700.  I can easily get to these numbers or go over  when I drink butter coffee.  My carb/fat/protein ratio is good .  Any feedback would be great.  Thanks and look forward to chatting and supporting.  Henry
