High calories with recommended macros

Hey guys, I'm new here and somewhat new to keto. I did it years ago, but just getting back to it. I used the recommended macros for the app, but the calories are a couple hundred higher than what it says when I meet those macros.  Which should I be more concerned with for results?

  • I don’t worry too much about calories. When eating low carb it shouldn’t matter. I’m usually not hungry enough to eat even 1000calories a day so most days I am way under and now and then way over. But if you check out the website dietsoctor.com they explain why calories don’t matter on low carb.

    I rarely look at my calories. I also use this keto calculator to determine all my macros, then enter them manually into Carb Manager. Take a look if you're interested.

    As with you I write them down and then put in Carb Manager.  Lost 6.2 for first week.  I would have lost more today but i was FOS...lol, it didn't come out until Imweighed in.  Oh well.

    Calories don't mean too much in the end - more about keeping insulin down - low carb

    Keep eating high fats and your body will tell you its enough naturally :)
