Apple Cider Vinegar??

Is anyone taking Apple Cider Vinegar while on this low carb diet?  Good results?

    julie573294222 if I were you- just do it. In the morning. It won’t hurt and you could have really great results.

    julie573294222 I just stared this organic 2T in about 1 c cold water with a spritz of stevia to help me get it down. I have to say I wanted to stay away from artificial sweetners but I can’t drink this without a sweetner. Day two, three, I felt a bit more energy. I’m doing it to bring my ph level to a more normal range since I have been lacking a variety of veg.  I’m fairly acidic right now and that is concerning me.

  • Badmojomn I’ve been taking 1 teaspoon in a glass of watered down crystal light twice a day. It’s helped to lower my blood pressure and I feel great. It’s supposed to help with heartburn as well. No issues so far. Crystal light makes it easy to drink. Try adding more water or less vinegar. It is very tart! Lol

    julie573294222 My Ph is off so I was aiming for potency. Lol. I think I need to drink it with food in my gut, huge heartburn on an empty stomach. I have to say I felt a little more peppy in day two or three though. I started a probiotic and Spirulina regime hoping this will help. I’ll try incorporating more salad or canned geeen beans. It started when I stopped caring about eating any veg.

    I am also taking ACV every day. Sometimes, I use it in salad dressing, sometimes I add it to my green smoothie, and occasionally, I will just drink it in water with a little bit of liquid sweetener to help the taste. I use the organic kind like Braggs; but I get the Sam’s Club brand by the half-gallon.

    Yes usually 3 times a day with a teaspoon of fiber added too but I’m ready for break... switching to lemon juice for a while. I find it really kills my apetite & helps extend my intermittent fasting time. Dinner at 5:30 and nothing but ACV till morning coffee. No solid food till lunchtime!

  • They sell apple cider vinegar capsules.  Much easier to get down!

    OK..my week long experiment switching from ACV to lemon juice is over.  I was surprised to find I missed the ACV so I'm back on it 3 times daily in 10 oz glass of water, with 2 teaspoons fiber added.  Really helps get thru the 16 hour a day fast as it curbs the appetite. I feel peppier and blood pressure is down.
