Using psyllium husk in recipes

Can this be used in cooking? psyllium husk. If so where can you get it?

  • Sounds like a bad idea. Just get the pills and down the hatch. Make sure you drink plenty of water with them. And they definitely work

    I used the powder for a pizza crust. Was pretty yummo!! It can also be incorporated almost in anything you drink - water, shakes, smoothies, etc. I got mine from Whole Foods and Sprouts too!

    It can totally be used in cooking. It makes “bread” recipes mimick the bready texture. What you don’t want to use is the medicinal psyllium husk (Metamucil). Make sure you’re getting the one from the food section as indicated above. :]
