Which sweetner do you use?

I've been using truvia which contains erythritrol as read its one of the best on keto. I hate the taste and the 'cool mouth' feel it gives though.

What other options are there in the UK that you like?

If you are looking for something just to sweeten and not for cooking AND you have Trader Joe’s in the UK I would highly recommend Trader Joe’s organic Liquid Stevia. 4 drops in my tea tastes great plus it comes in other flavors if you prefer.

This forum won’t let me upload the image but it looks like Amazon sells it- hopefully Amazon UK would also sell it if you don’t have Trader Joe’s.  Good luck!  Also I forgot to mention it’s the liquid stevia that comes with the eye-dropper type dispenser do you can get one drop at a time.  :)

I like Monk Fruit and Swerve. They are a little pricey but it’s worth not dealing with the aftertaste of Stevia.

Thanks for the replies so far.  Trader Joes and swerve arent easily available in the UK unless via amazon for large shipping costs.  Swerve contains erythritol, so wouldn't it have the same aftertaste as the one I'm already using?

I haven’t tried monk fruit yet but hope to soon. I use liquid Stevia drops for everyday use. Just a few drops go a long way. I’ve heard some say it has a bitter aftertaste but I’ve never noticed it. Have only used Swerve for cooking. Actually, I’m trying to wean myself off sweeteners altogether so as not to spike my insulin levels but it’s a slow process.  ;)

Tegan For me, Stevia is the one that left a bitter aftertaste in my mouth. I switched to Swerve (confectioners and granular for baking; packets for drinks on the go), but mostly use the Torani (sugar-free) brand of syrups. Not sure they are available in the UK (or Amazon UK), but they are available on Amazon and our local supermarkets here.

I also recently tested the Jordan's Skinny Syrups brand of syrups and they are okay (a bit too sweet for me) and I use them sparingly. I love adding these to yoghurt, ice cream, etc when I indulge.

I also got Allulose recently but I dare not use it often. I use sweeteners sparingly in general.
