  • Black coffee every morning (I have 2 cups).   Track your fiber intake and try to get at least 21 grams of fiber every day.   I get it from flax meal (2 tbls) and green leafy veggies.   Also, when your body fully adjusts to diet, it will straighten itself out.   Relax. You got this!

This is a common problem early in keto.  Keeping fiber up helps on an ongoing basis.  On a right now basis, consuming a generous portion of salty & vinegary foods like green or kalamata olives, kosher pickles or sauerkraut usually helps to get things moving for me.  Although it often gives me "rumble belly" for a few hours as well.

I put mct oil in my coffee and it helps. I ran out and didn’t buy any for several days and I was constipated. I’m back to using it and everything is going okay. This is just my experience and it may not work for others.

So I made a mistake in doing just a tsp of psyllium husk powder with water & cascara Sagrada later in the day because it had been 3 days! That made it worse & it just hardened. I was actually considering going off Keto for a few weeks to normalize, however it seems the consensus is to keep with it and it adjusts itself? I'm doing well in Ketosis & about 10 days in.
