Entering foods question

Hi everyone,

I have a problem with entering food. I scanned cream cheese. No food was found so I added the cream cheese in to the database. When the serving size came up I listed it as 25g, which is what the serving size is listed as.

I then added this ingredient to my recipe that calls for 40g of cream cheese. However the calories and carbs were all wrong for grams, they were much lower.

The “25g” in the drop down menu was correct for carbs and calories but when I used the actual grams, which is handy with carb manager premium, the macros were incorrect.

I had to do 40/25 to them enter 1.6 worth of the “25g”. If you weren’t paying attention you would overeat carbs.

What am I doing wrong?

Hi, Just my thoughts.....If you go to Foods under My Daily Log and click on that, a search bar should come up. Type for instance Cream Cheese in the box and you can find the type of CC there and then be able to choose, grams, ounces, tablespoons, etc., and you can then add it to your day where the fat, protein, and net carbs will come up. Once you get the numbers, you can then always remove it from your day but at least you will have the correct numbers for the ingredient.
