By default Carb Manager goes by percentage of total calories for the day. For example 70% fat 25% protein 5% carbs. So if your total calories for the day are lets say 2,000 then that would mean 1,400 calories from fat, 500 calories from protein and 100 calories from carbs.
1g of fat = 9 calories 1g of carbs = 4 calories 1g of protein = 4 calories
so that would be 1400/9 for grams of fat, 500/4 for grams of protein, and 100/4 for grams of carbs.
which equals 156g of fat 125g of protein and 25g of carbs.
I think you can set the macros by grams instead of percentages. So you could set your carbs for 20g and the app would add the additional calories to the other macros.
