Newbie with a question

I have not started the diet yet. Just trying to familiarize myself. Looking at some soup recipes and says serving size one bowl. There are so many size soup bowls - what the heck? Most of the recipes clearly make a lot. Any help?

For most recipes, if you scroll down below the ingredients and directions, you’ll see the nutrients, etc.  Just above the nutrients you’ll see - sometimes, but not always - the serving size in ounces/grams.

Edit: if there’s no useable information about serving size, you can sometimes get a good approximation by looking at the quantities in the ingredients: if it calls for four cups of liquid and eight ounces of diced chicken, etc., a serving is probably one cup.

    Hope this helps.
