Sriracha Sauce horror! πŸ˜‘

Soooo... I've been doing great all week crushing my goals this week EXCEPT for Wednesday. I had a couple tablespoons of "rooster sauce" ala Sriracha. Nutrition facts says 0 carbs/ 0 sugar. I log my meal after I ate only to find out those 2 tablespoons were my total carb allowance for the day! I check the ingredients and the second ingredient listed was SUGAR!!! Lesson learned. I will now be more diligent on reading every ingredient every time (I wrongly assumed ut was a hit sauce and safe πŸ™„)... Has anyone else experienced this with another food? Please do share 😁

 

On the bright side: I still lost 2 pounds overnight (pure waterweight, but at least I don't feel like a camel anymore!)

    Dang it  and I’ve really been into adding sriracha sauce to some meals ... Before starting this keto change id really never purchased it to have at home .

    So the amount of sugar in it may be so insignificant that it won’t matter. It has to be below a certain threshold for them to be able to label it as 0 carb/0 Sugar if I’m not mistaken. I wouldn’t sweat it personally.
