Veggie macro calculation confusion

Hi guys! I’m on week 3 of keto. Doing well so far, have lost 3 kilos! But I need some clarification on calculating the veggie intake.  For example, tonight I made two heads of bok choy (Chinese cabbage) the heads are as long as my hand approximately, little bok choys, and when I typed bok choy in the foods list it shows me cooked bok choy so I clicked that. When I entered 2 heads it showed a huge amount of carbs, however once chopped and cooked it only amounted to around 1/2 cup. For 1/2 cup of bok choy it was substantially less carbs. So which is right? I’m confused. Should I be calculating the weight/amount of veggies when they are raw before I cook them? Or weighing veggies after they are cooked? Please help and thank you!

For more accurate measures, way things rather than using cups. Cups is a horribly inaccurate measure for most Foods. Cooked or raw, vegetables should be pretty similar in weight.  Also, the data is user entered and not wholly reliable. So if anything looks questionable go to Google, find your own answers, then come back and either enter the correct information yourself under custom entry or choose the entry that is accurate or close to accurate. I'm constantly grappling with the weighing raw meat versus weighing cooked meat dilemma. People say you should be weighing raw meat, however most raw meat is injected with salt water to inflate its cost. The cooked meat weighs 50-75% of the raw weight.  Plus I generally take raw meat straight out of the package to the pan, I don't like having to contaminate extra dishes weighing the stuff. So I compromise and weigh it cooked and then add 25%.
