Feeling optimistic!

Hi everyone, 

Down 7.8 pounds in the first week. This is the first time I've been under 200 lbs since 2017! Very encouraged! Christmas 2016 I was 160ish so that is my goal. I love reading about all your accomplishments. It gives me hope!

    That's great, just keep in mind the first week is water weight.  Going forward, your body is going to have to convert stored energy (fat) into energy and that is going to go slower.   Don't let that discourage you, it's a good thing, just don't be surprised if you stall for a bit as your body adjusts and stick with it.

    My first goal was to get down under 200. I’m trying to get under 170. The last few pounds seem to be pretty difficult.

    Slim Dog Percent of body fat thing.  You have less body fat to convert into energy than at the start.
