Hi, I’m new and need some help please......

I have been doing the Keto diet for only three days but need to go out for a work dinner on Friday night. We are eating at an Indian restaurant, what Keto friendly meals can you suggest? I’ve already lost 1 kilogram and don’t want to undo the great start I have had. Thanks in advance for your suggestions. 🙂

  • Hi Eladimra. I've been on Keto now for 35 days. I've lost 15 pounds and going strong. Keep up the great work. I'm not super familiar with Indian food, but I would probably stay away from the sauces and bread. Stick with Lamb chops and salad. I would ask the water what sauces are made with sugar.

  • They have lamb and chicken for sure. They also have salads so you can have that also. The naan bread is not recommended for sure, neither is the rice that always accompanies the foods.  If you have a light breakfast in the morning and a light lunch as well, you can allow yourself the sauces, I would say but keep in mind those 20 g carbs for your day. Ask for a water pitchet and drink water freely. Avoid the dessert and have a good tea at the end. Enjoy your evening, Eladimra!!

  • Maigrichonne  thanks so much for your advice! I had planned to avaoid the naan and rice. Have done a bit research online and most sites suggest the butter chicken as it has a creamy sauce, at least I won’t go hungry at the dinner 😀
