First week

After visiting with my doctor, complaining about having no or little success losing weight, he suggested Keto. But with 3 promises: 1) read everything you can and research fully for 2 weeks before starting 2) NO cheating 3) give it at least 8 weeks. Well, here I am after first full week. I haven’t always stayed at or below my daily carb goal, but I’ve been close. I lost 12 pounds this first week! I know not to expect this every week but I am so excited. I haven’t had many cravings and feel quite satisfied. Looking forward to to week.

  • Great job!! For me, the first few weeks were a little hectic as I had various cravings and felt pretty crummy overall. 

    I chalked it off to the "keto-flu" since it went away.  After that though, things just seemed to click and my body and mind started to cooperate.  I also feel a lot better than I did when I was eating pretty crappy.  Anyway, good luck to you!!  It sounds like you're doing great so far!! :)

  • I am on week three. I’ve lost 15lbs but more importantly I feel so much better. The water has my skin glowing and hair shiny. Focusing on my health and wellness has given me positive outlook. I have a lot to learn and a long way to go. I’m proud of myself. And you!
