More protein than fat

I ate more protein than fat today and I have reached my limit of foods for the day. I read the extra protein can turn into glucose putting me out of Ketosis. Is there a remedy for this? Like exercise? Over eat more fat to compensate?

No this is a total myth. Protein macro should be your goal to reach each day but doesn’t turn into glucose if extra is consumed. I had heard this also. Don’t worry at all if you’re not reaching your gay macros as it’s just a lever and we’re lead to believe that fat should be around the 80% of our total I take but this is also untrue. The more we have on our plate the less we burn from our bodies  as we’ll burn the food first. A great source of info is from a guy on YouTube called primal edge health. He keeps it really simple and cuts out the myths and how we’re all getting it wrong

  • Watch Dr Berg vids on YouTube. Learn all you can about keto. Eating keto foods won't kick you out of ketosis. You can overeat & not lose weight though.
