rose9565 It鈥檚 typical to have higher numbers at first but they level out for the better but it takes time. I鈥檓 following keto to bring my numbers down and haven鈥檛 had it checked in one year. I鈥檒l be going back in the next few months. If you research cholesterol levels with ketogenic, lots of good info out there. Funny thing is when I saw a video and saw ketogenic doctors talking about it鈥檚 not the cholesterol levels that give us heart attack鈥檚 and strokes, it鈥檚 the condition of our vascular vessels. People who have normal cholesterol levels are dying because of a high carb diet and blood pressure. Blockages occur when the vessels are weak. It鈥檚 really hard to explain but I did do a lot of research on it. I had a higher cholesterol level and ditched my meds. My dentist asked if I had any teeth issues, I said not since I stopped taking my cholesterol med. it gave me severe tooth sensitivity to hot and cold. He said he went to a doctor convention and non of the docs would take a cholesterol med because they do more harm than good. With the body utilizing cholesterol鈥檚 on ketogenic, I have decided to never go back on them.

Thank you for your reply!... My cardiologist was not happy with my numbers at all... But I also go to a natrapath and a D.O.... they both told me it's not the total cholesterol numbers that should be a worry... I will look for Statin Nation... I'm curious what your numbers were... and will be at your next visit... thanks again!
