Hypoglycemia with keto

I have been on Ket o for about 2 months without too many issues. I texted with my mojo this morning ( and yesterday morning) and my glucose level was 30 todat, 40 yesterday. I read that mean s hypoglycemia. The websites seemed to all day eat sugar and stay away from fat. Now how am I suppose to do this and stay in ketosis? Any ideas?

linrenep with Keto the blood sugars should be low. How do you feel?  If you feel great, it’s normal I think.  I’m insulin resistant so I’m still running a little higher than what I want to be. A person on here I had been chatting with had been on Keto many months, her glucose fasting was super low. As long as your feeling well, this is good. Don’t eat sugar. lol more fat maybe for energy source.

linrenep I thought I recognized your user name. Did you go off Keto then come back on?

Badmojomn that's the problem. I texted because I am feeling shaky, dizzy, lethargic and have a headache. I hate going back to the doc after the last 6 months of issues ( unrelated to this).

linrenep I think unfortunately it’s the keto flu all over again. I went in and out of the flu it seemed like for a few months. Quite miserable for me I have to say. This just tells me I need to stay keto because I’m insulin resistant. My sugars still running higher than I want, but over time they should come down to 50-70.

linrenep im doing well, calm, less anxious feeling. My fat is dropping which is strange because even after 1 + year, scale isn’t much. I can tell in my jeans for sure.

Badmojomn good for you. I'm kinda learning (re-learning) to relax, not obsess about every morsel that goes in my mouth and just let the process happen. I've had some life changing events this past 6 months and I need to relax and chill a little.

New here. Day one of my keto went horrible. I’m hypoglycemic and the keto almost had me pass out a few times. I have to eat something with sugar every 4 hours or I pass out.

Jeaf7 I’m not sure if Keto will work for your medical condition.  You should discuss with a trusted medical provider before continuing.  There may be some recommended modifications or another approach altogether.  I hope you feel better soon.
