How important is it to hit my Fat Macro?

Hey! I’m just starting week 2 of Keto but I find I’m not meeting my fat macro. How important is it to hit that?  I’ve gotten a pretty bad sweet tooth since starting this so I’m locked and loaded to try making a bunch of fat bombs.  Thanks!

My advice is eat fat to satisfaction but don’t push yourself beyond that. Others will have different opinions. Great job on 2 weeks!

Beware the sweet tooth, should go in week 3-5 if you are anything like me, others it never goes but what is in your fat bombs? I found artificial sweeteners no matter their type still trigger cravings for a true sugar addict like me. There are lots of old posts on the subject of fat bombs (I never touch them personally).

I agree with WUH eat until satisfaction, some MCT oil in black coffee kicks up the ketones (see YouTube 2fitdocs on the evidence). Fats fill you up nicely. Cabbage/mushrooms  fried in lots of good butter and very well seasoned goes with almost anything 😋

My fat bombs only have Erythritol or swerve, coconut oil, almond or natural peanut butter, unsweetened shredded coconut, lily’s Dark chocolate chips, butter, etc...  I eat a serving when my cravings get too intense.

Fizzpop okay whatever works for you, I can’t eat peanut anything without halting my weightloss (I have a little nut & seed butter without any peanuts for an occasional treat) nor do I touch artificial sweeteners but having zero works for my true sugar addiction my physical cravings are gone but occasionally I have ‘head cravings’.  I firmly believe we are all different though should you find weightloss difficult or your cravings remain, please look again at fat bomb discussions of old on GM. Hope you get on well. 🌷
