Please don't switch to current day when doing certain operations in previous days in the app

I keep track of my daily macros in a spreadsheet, and switch between apps to record. But I usually do it the next morning (so I'm recording yesterday's macros). However, every time I switch to the different app and back, carb manager changes to the current day and I have to switch back to the day I'm trying to record macros for.

Second example oh, I was trying to copy individual items from 2 days to go to yesterday because I had the same foods for dinner. After copying each item, the app changed back to today and I had to go back two days each time to copy the next item. It seems like you'd want to stay in the day that you were in previously when doing things like this.
