Exercise

Today is my first day. I just walked 2 miles and the app took away macros for my exercise. Does it do that??? That will motivate me to exercise more! Where can I read more about this?

Vicki In your settings, you can turn on and off whether you want carbs added or ignored from your exercise. I found that about a week ago. I find it very motivating because I work out regularly and like that function. Works for me but as an option it's good for those who don't find it useful - just turn it off :)

I just signed up today.  I added my kickboxing and it now says I need to eat another 600 calories but didn't adjust my macro breakdown.  Any advice? If I add calories I want to make sure I stay in my percentages.

Boymom I did turn on to adjust macros with exercise in settings but nothing changed.

  • I, too, was looking for motivation for a long time, and then I realized that such programs are very helpful. The settings have everything you need. The only thing is that sometimes it counts wrong, for a 20-minute workout 500-600 calories sounds questionable.

    Absurd

A 20 minute workout, regardless of its intensity, is NOT going to burn 500 calories or more.

Exercise is not that effective for weight loss.

The primary benefit of exercise is it preserves muscle mass and improves Insulin Sensitivity.
