About the just released CM app on iphone

There seems to be a database disconnect between what the web version shows and what the CM/iPhone shows.  If i update My Day on the phone for what I eat, it doesn't show on the web.  If I update the web for what I eat, it does show on the web, but on the phone it is in addition to what was already on my phone app.  If I delete all of say "Breakfast" on the phone, it remains on the web and no longer on the phone.  This is a real problem for me since using the phone version only is rather cumbersome, even with the new interface.

Yes, the carbmanager backend is in a state of chaos at present by the looks of things.

If the web address you're using starts with https://app.carbmanager.com/ then you'll need to change to the new https://my.carbmanager.com/ which will allow you to sync with the new iOS app.

However, personally, I'd prefer to carry on using the old site as it actually works!!! - that means ditching use of the iOS app (until they sort things out). The new app (web and iOS) are pretty awful at the moment - lots of values just not adding up, loss of control over personal favourites and recipes, etc - NOT to mention recipe ingredients listed in a grid (what a stupid idea that is, for a LIST!)

Carb Manager Carb Manager Did you ask users if they wanted the new pile of crap? Just look at the one star reviews on Google Play. Why was this not tested before release? Why weren't paying users asked what they wanted! Very disappointed.

Carb Manager while you guys are working like crazy to fix all of the issues, is it possible to go back to the old app? It was certainly more user friendly which is why you have the customer base you have. I am quite sure that if you took a poll you鈥檇 find most of your customers (if not all) are unhappy right now. Glad I don鈥檛 pay annually.

I had not used the phone app for quite a while (why I purchased the subscription to begin with).  So, when I opened it up, all of the features of the old app that I like, i.e., being able to choose my own foods, create my own meal plans, enter or upload food data, etc., . . . . all of these were gone and replaced with a robotic menu of choices that forced me to choose certain meal plans and foods.  I am just about to cancel my subscription, but I logged in HERE to find some initial answers.  I guess I am on the right path to discovery!  Yes, of course, as any good government official knows, if something is working well, then change it . . . . right?  Oh, wait, this isn't government, is it?  Sure FEELS like something stupid the government would do.  Unless I find a way to go back to the old app on my phone, I will be cancelling my subscription and going to a competitor.

I'm actually getting used to the new app and like some of the new features.  It took some getting use to as with any change, but it's working for me.  馃憤
