Protein

Hello,

I’m doing Keto and I’m having a hard time with getting enough protein. Any suggestions for high protein foods that fit into a Keto diet?

Cottage cheese is a good choice. Related, see the recent video about protein on the Diet Doctor channel on Youtube. They have many other interesting videos also pertaining to keto.

  • Along with mikahza84 and TDSCL20...I eat 2 eggs with 3 egg whites and add hemp seeds and almond cheese.  I have the opposite issue and get a lot of protein which forced me to switch to a high protein keto program.  I do 2 protein shakes a day, one in the morning and one after my workout.  The early morning one is a vegan smoothie by sunwarrior and the afternoon is a vegan keto protein by sunwarrior, plus I use ripple milk that has 8g of protein per 8oz cup.  I still stay in the 19g of net carbs for the day which include 4 more high protein meals at 2500 calories a day.

    Sorry for the book!

  • As I understand it, many have this problem. Protein is better to eat with food, without additives, but if there is not enough time, it's a good supplement. I can recommend you to read this one https://gym-expert.com/best-protein-powder/ I have been using my supplements for many years, but it's individual. You can also eat cheese, milk products.

also, if you like Lamb (like I do) it's high protein , high fat. I have the opposite problem - it's easy for me to get enough protein - hard to get my fats high enough to meet my macro goal and yet still keep my caloric intake where I want it.
