Working on it

Hello everyone! I have been on Keto since 2/24 and have lost 25 lbs so far but the last 2 weeks my weight has stalled and I am getting increasingly frustrated. Am I not doing something right? I have adjusted totals and gone over everything time and time again. Looking for someone to help keep me motivated on this journey and maybe help give me some direction.

    Welcome to keto and welcome to the forum!

    First, stay the course and keep at it - don’t give up the ship just yet.  Stalling happens to everyone, particularly as we approach our desired weight.   You don’t say how much you want to lose, but if you’re getting close to your goal weight, that might be why.

    And since you don’t give your macros or say whether you’re keeping below them, it’s hard to know if they’re what’s causing the stall.  Be sure to stay below your carb, and really watch your proteins.  A lot of folks go over their proteins as they have a hard time adjusting to eating a lot of healthy fats (just the culture we grow up in).  Excess proteins will be processed in to carbs and that defeats the purpose of keto and can stall weight loss.

    Make sure you’re drinking plenty of water - a LOT of water.

    Most of all, keep at it.  Hope this helps.

    That's a lot to lose in less than 2 months. Your body is just trying to figure out if you are serious. Stay with it. You'll be just fine!
