Watching cholesterol

Hi, 

Been doing keto for 10 months and lost 75lbs. Just found out my cholesterol has doubled and can’t do keto anymore. Any tips for avoiding carbs while lowering cholesterol?

    Are you getting enough vegetables along with the meats and cheeses? And honestly, congratulations on the weight loss!

    That is a vague statement without any meaning.
    You need to list your Total Cholesterol, HDL, LDL and Triglyceride number.
    You need to know the relationship between these number.  Such as your Triglyceride:HDL Ratio.  That provide you information about your LDL Particle; which is one of the determinates of if you have good or bad LDL.
    You need to know you Remnant Cholesterol Number; another vital number.
    You Total Cholesterol and LDL alone number are meaningless.
    Stand alone important number are your HDL and your Triglycerides.
    Many physician are clueless when it come to interpreting your Cholesterol Number.

    My LDL has gone up but my HDL has gone up even higher. It all depends.
