The scale won’t move!

Please help. Has this happened to anyone else and did you see the scale finally move?
I have been on keto 4 weeks. I feel great and I do love it but the scale has hardly moved!! Can you recommend any tips for me?

I use the app and I track everything. I do the fasting 12/8 sometimes even more bc I’m not hungry. I listen to the macros/protein/fat intake.

I am interested in feedback here as well. Been doing Keto for 3 weeks and have lost 8lbs...and stalled the last day or two. Maybe I’m watching the scale too much?...but I’m being very diligent and hoping for more than initial water loss. Is a stall typical? I will admit I have a hard time getting enough fat consumption. I’m not too far off the mark, but could that be the culprit?
congrats to everyone with all the great successes! I’m hoping to catch up!!!

I hear ya!  For me, the first couple of months I was hyper focused on getting the scale to reflect my effort.  It was not a balanced approach.  Today, 6 months in, I only weigh once a week and celebrate how I feel, not necessarily what the scale is telling me.
Give it time & stay the course.
I have lost 21 lb in 6 month and am 5 lbs from my goal weight.

Hi I’m the same 4 weeks in lost a couple off pounds the first 2weeks and this morning I’ve put a pound on. I’m only looking to lose 18 pound maybe it my age 56? I’ve been the same size all my life and the last 2 years I’ve slowly put on a Stone and a half... ( menopause 13 years ago )

My Keto Urine test is 8/10 day & night. I’m not eating as much my  calories have dropped by half compared to what I was before the diet .. really disappointed this morning after weighing myself as I haven’t in a week 🤔☹️

Caz19  sorry to hear that. It can be very discouraging. Hang in there! I went a week without loss and suddenly the scale is moving a tiny bit again. I guess slow and steady wins the race. I may be wrong but I do feel if you have quite a lot to lose, the pounds come off quicker.  18 lbs...you’ll get there slowly!
Midlife menopause is no picnic!!! :(

This is so helpful and validating.  I’ve done Keto for a month now and have only lost 10 pounds? I feel like I should losing more. I’m 57. Peri menopausal( still get my period, like 2/ year). My Doc said my hormones are crazy and preventing fast weight loss. I’m gonna stay at it, but it’s getting tiring.

MamaCat for Keto weightloss don't worry about meeting fat macro.  Rule of thumb is to limit carbs, meet your protein goal and fat to satiety. You want your body to use fat as fuel, preferably from your fat stored in your body.

AmyPac77 That's over 2 pounds a week lost and really good! Focus on how your body feels and not so much on the scale. Not everyone gets that initial huge loss in the first month. Curious how much you have to lose. My first experience with Keto I had 100 pounds to drop. Lost 40 in 4 months without taking my hypothyroid meds.
