Desktop date control needs to be 'sticky'

On the new DESKTOP app, the date control scrolls away and needs to be 'sticky' (in a frame?) so that you can move between days while viewing a particular meal. The mobile apps have got this right. In desktop app you have scroll back to the page top, change the day, then scroll back down to (say) dinner. It is so unnecessary and very, very tedious. Please try it and you will see.

I am not a fan of this new app at all, but if you can deal with some of these usability issues promptly maybe I will decide to live with it!
