Web page and phone app not synching

I just started to use the Carb Manager website, but it doesn’t seem to synch with my phone app. I Am logged in under the same account.

any suggestions??

  • Correction - entries from phone will show up in the browser app - but my phone  still doesn’t show what I entered from my pc  browser.

  • I am having the same problem! I entered my daily food on my mobile device today, and it's not syncing to the desktop version. Also, I signed up for premium, and my mobile device shows that I don't have premium, even though I can see that I do on desktop. I'm definitely logged in with the same email for both.

  • Similar problems. Today the new version on my Mac was replaced with the old version (which I prefer) but has removed all sorts of entries. Has anyone heard from CM? I really like the program and purchased the premium version for three months but this makes me think I should be looking for an alternative. Has the company put out any announcements on this?

    Same here with my iPhone, iPad and desktop not syncing.  I primarily record on my desktop and only use my phone to scan.  It used to be instantaneous sync and now it doesn't sync/

    If you are using the new app you have to goto my.carbmanager.com to enter items. New and old versions will not sync. Support have abandoned its users.

    We haven't abandoned our users though it might feel that way since we are much slower to respond. We have added extra staff and everyone is working overtime. Since the transition from the old version to the new version is taking longer than anticipated, we are trying to find better ways to support you all.

     

    This forum has always been a great place for our users to spread the word, and help each other. We cannot moderate this forum and answer specific questions, though we will now post some important information under the  News & Announcements section.

    We're in a transitional moment here at Carb Manager. We've started launching version 7, a whole new rebuild of the Carb Manager app. Over the last month, many of you have received the mobile upgrade automatically or through the app stores. Apple users are able to install the new mobile version if they're ready to move. It has been rolling out slowly and is not yet in the Google Play store for all. One reason for the slower transition, besides fixing bugs and other glitches, is that we are refactoring the food search and pre-migrating user data to make the transition more seamless. We think that's worth the wait.

    The knowledge base for each version is as follows:

    Note:

    There is no backward compatibility. If you make changes in the new version of the app, they will not show in the old version of the app. 

    For those who have downloaded the new mobile app and want to sync with the web version, please sign in to my.carbmanager.com,  and the web account and mobile version will sync perfectly.

    Having similar issues as well.  I can see things I enter on my phone only.  Entries from my phone do not show up on the web.

  • I dislike the new version that just popped up this afternoon, Feb. 2, 2021. 
    The font is too small for seniors . I am only a basic member but did like the old app. Yesterday. If I could sync my android phone to my apple iPad that would be great. 
    I can’t remember my password so am afraid to sign out
