Starting 3rd Week
Hi! I'm new here, but have been doing keto for 2 weeks and I'm gearing up to start my 3rd week. Started a pseudo Whole30 at beginning of June, but haven't counted macros till beginning of July. Been up and down (weight, fatigue, etc) since June, so hoping there's light at the end of the tunnel! :)
This week will be an interesting one as we're going camping at the end of the week with husband's family. So, bit nervous, but fortunately we can determine most of what we're eating. :)
Anyone else in the same boat...third week?

I am counting net carbs using CarbManager and did set up macros using some online calculators, but haven't really paid too much attention to them. I really am only focusing on net carbs and not going way over calories.
Camping was easier than I expected even with the family potluck.
Only have lost 5 pounds in 3 weeks...can be discouraging, but I'm seeing more physical results (I don't do measurements), and still in ketosis.
I have been reading a lot about fat adaptation and sounds like it can take quite a few weeks in some cases. I'm using that as encouragement to keep going despite the "fast" weight loss.
I don't have much to lose either, so I know that makes a different too.
The scale helps and doesn't help! :) Do you have any other successes that are helping?
