Nearly 4 weeks in.

Hi everyone. 
 

My name’s Anita. 

I’m new to Keto. I’m nearly 4 weeks in and have my dedication to the diet has surprised me. I lost 6lbs of water weight in the first week but haven’t lost anything since, is anyone else experiencing this? 
Also, my fatigue isn’t lifting. I’m constantly exhausted despite taking MCT oil, a magnesium/electrolyte supplement & a multi vitamin every day.

  • If you are constantly fatigued even taking the supplements you might try increasing your fat intake. The extra fat gives me energy.

  • Congratulations on your success thus far. I want to encourage you to stay the course. I stalled for what seemed like forever. The scale rarely moved after my initial 13lb loss after the first 2 weeks. 
    I walk over 10km a day quite consistently, this gives me a lot of energy and I realize my muscles are slowly replacing my fat. So that explains why my weight loss has been so slow compared to a lot of people on Keto. Good thing is I’m swimming in my clothes. 
     

    Things that helped me with increasing my energy. 
    wake up drink 2 glasses of water, 1 tbsp Apple cider vinegar.

    My walk, usually 10000 step walk followed by a coffee with cream 

    afternoon I have my lunch 

    Lots of green leafy veggies, vitamin B supplements, iron if you suspect you are anemic. 

    snack on nuts such as macadamia and walnuts.

    Eat min 3 hours before bed so my body has time to digest.

    evening walk, another 10000 steps or at least 10km for the day

    Drink as much water as you can, get your body moving and you’ll notice you will sleep much better and start feeling more energized.
