  • It took me a year to restart but I went in head first.   I was better prepared this time since I ate all day I made a cheesecake and had that for snacks.  After the first week I did not need it as much.  The challenges are real but worth it.   Enter your food in ahead of time to keep your macros in check.    Please ask questions and read the posts on here.   Good luck

I just restarted.  I did great for 6 months then hit a very stressful period and although I did not go overboard, I def was not on track.  Initially lost 30 lbs and gained back 10, so I am back at it.  Good luck.

Well we know what to do to get back where we were and then some!  I’m on day 2.  Not looking forward to day 3 and 4 as I remember those were pretty bad and I got the shakes.  But woke up on day 5 feeling AMAZING and full of energy.  Almost there...

  • LCree I felt that way again around 4 weeks and broke into the water softener salt(99.6%)  I feed my horse . It helped a lot.

Me too!  I think all of the recipes and Pinterest ideas made me feel like it had to much more involved than it does.  I’ve been back at it for 4 weeks and have lost 10 lbs.  keeping it simple like the meat we eat for dinner a big salad with olive oil and salt and something like asparagus, broccoli or cauliflower with butter or cheese.  I also do the 90 second keto bread when I want it.  That’s for most nights.  When I want something different,  I might pull up a recipe.  I also quit with the bulletproof coffee most days.

Also easing in to intermittent fasting this time.

Nice!  Sounds like you have a good handle on it  Sandymom !  I wish I could do Keto bread or Keto baked goods but I can’t do nuts or coconut and it seems most of the recipes call for almond or coconut flour.   Getting ready for day 3...

LCree I consigned myself to not having bread until I stumbled on the Nearly No Carb flatbread recipe. No flour involved. I’ve used that flatbread for pizza as well. That’s another food I thought was out of reach because other crust alternatives just didn’t do it for me.

yes, there are alternatives like that!  For the most part, on the busy day to day drudge, Ive started to keep it as simple as possible and do the IF!  The best part of IF to me is only having to figure out one or two meals a day and having more food at one time.  Makes me happy!

We are going to do great this time!

I did IF the first time around.  I will definitely incorporate it again but I have to wait until I have been back at this for a couple of weeks.  Once you get to that point when you no longer get hungry it makes it very easy to IF as often as you want lol.

    We got this!

How is everyone?  I am on day 4, feeling really good.
