Keto Coffee/Low Carbing only
I am not interested in getting my body in the ketosis state but like to drink coffee with butter and mct oil. Will I still benefit from the keto coffee for weight loss when I am not pairing it with the keto diet plan or am i just raising my cholesterol levels by drinking it. I do try to eat low carb most days.

Ummm -- by getting into a ketogenic state. . . .
To be honest, I'm not sure the extent to which simply reducing carbs without ketosis gets the body to burn fat. I do know from my personal 5-month journey that ketosis gets the job done! Down 35 pounds practically without trying. (For me, as a 71-year-old lifelong non-cook, the greatest difficulty was meal planning and prep. For someone used to cooking, it should go fairly easily.) Of course, the fact that I LOVE fats helped make it easy -- lol!

A little research into cholesterol from good fats should help reduce your concerns regarding it. With so much mounting evidence, please find time to browse some of the Dr’s excelling in their fields (for example links in Favourite Self Education finds listed in low carb chat.) Your body will however, use glucose before fat for fuel, it is easier for it. Excess fuel gets stored by your excellently designed body - in your fat cells. Thanks insulin! (Not!)

Healthy fats are not as much of a concern regarding cholesterol levels (I believe, don't take my word on it, research yourself).
As far as being able to burn fat while consuming it and carbs. Your body will naturally burn sugar/carbs as it's main fuel source, and will store fats for future use as energy. The Keto diet trains your body to burn fat as fuel, and the way to do that is to eat low carb. Most calculators suggest 30-50 carbs a day max. I personally try to be below 20 carbs a day (unless they're from good sources like above ground vegetables).

Hi Monica, to lose more fat on Keto you will need to reduce consumption while still making sure your keto strips are colored. So you still want high-fat but lower calories (food quantity).
Lower quantity a little bit every day until you average around a 2-lb week loss. It's not catabolic if you are burning ketones. However, if you are still burning sugar then ya it's risky going lowering intake. And I recommend some weight lifting during this, not too heavy, long as the muscle is stimulated.

The simple answer is no. If you are adding extra fats while still consuming carbs that is a recipe for disaster. Your body will use the carbs, aka sugar, for energy. All the fat you consume will be stored in your fat cells, ie make you fatter. If you love the new coffee it is imperative you lower your carb intake.
