0g Carb Snacks

Hello All, I'm a newbie! Started a week ago and lost 1.5kg. Bit disappointed because I thought I would lose more, so I thought I better starting being serious about this and counting carbs. So here I am ...
Two things:
1. Does anyone know of a group for Spanish Ketos
2. Does anyone know the best 0g carb snacks to get me through the first few weeks?

This link shows apples but I thought apples were high in carbs?

Thank  you :)
Regards
Paula
PS: Update, I found this low carb snack image if that helps anyone ...

  • Hello lovely.  Are you eating enough meals? if you don’t, your body goes into starvation mode, and stores fat, to give you energy still. But also makes it really hard to lose weight.

If that’s not the issue, are you burning more calories than you’re consuming? You need to burn 3,500 more calories a week than you eat to lose just one pound of fat.

I know, it sounds daunting. But it’s achievable. You want to lose it slowly and surely. Not lots too fast, because you’re more likely to put the weight back on, and it also isn’t good for your skin. It will cause it to sag.

I hope this is useful. I’m sorry if not. Good luck with your Journey :-)

  • Do not be too discouraged if the weight does not melt off immediately. I can take several days to get into ketosis if your macros are in the right proportions.  A medium sized apple has about 20 grams of carbs. That is probably close to your daily limit. I think most people should have between 20-30 carbs per day...it varies from person to person.  A few slices are probably fine.  Search youtube for "fat bomb recipes" or "keto snacks".  Good luck. Also I am a fan of Thomas DeLauer on youtube as well.

  • Blueberries and Strawberries are my go to fruits.  They have a bit of fiber and are low carb. No fat but eat with REAL whipped cream to add fat.
