If I am meeting the 70% fat/5% Carbs/25% Protein...

Just started this week, so appreciate your feedback as I want to get this right!

If I go over on carb or protein, and increase my fats for the day is that acceptable - as long as I end up with 70% of my intake is from fat, 5% from carbs and 25% from Protein?  I struggle most with my protein getting to high.

No it’s more important that you stay under your net carbs and calories. Percentages don’t really matter, that’s just for guidance in the beginning. Ignore the percentages and pay attention to grams and calories instead or you will likely have difficulty losing weight. Ketosis usually happens for most people under 20g net carbs, so increasing carbs isn’t helpful. Also keep in mind that it’s a calorie deficit that results in weight loss. Ketones make a low calorie diet easier to follow by simply curbIng your hunger and carb cravings. Ketones don’t burn fat, that’s a common misconception. So watch those calories! Good luck.
