Protein/meal replacement shakes

I brought a thing of Slim Fast powder today, I was just going to drink it in the mornings for breakfast (not a breakfast person), because all I eat for breakfast is carb related (pancakes, cereal etc).  I don’t eat eggs, they hurt my stomach.  Anyway, I know that we have to limit milk but I currently have 2% milk in the house.  Is that okay to mix the powder with?

7 days since you posted this, I do wonder how you have got on.... the carbs sound frightening to me I wouldn’t touch them (personally) no one says you have to eat breakfast. Your first meal of the day whatever time suits you, should be good old fatty proteins. Milk is full of lactose (sugar which is carbohydrates) the higher the fat in it, the less sugar.

Ditch the 2% milk, too much sugar.  My body also doesn't love eggs, since starting keto I skip breakfast, just enjoying a cup of tea.  Most times plain, on days I wake up hungry I add non caloric sweetener and and a tbsp of heavy whipping cream.  The cream is very filling.

Milk is high sugar. If you do the shakes, then add unsweetened coconut milk or unsweetened almond milk.

Or get the Adkins low carb shakes (at only 1-2 net carbs a shake and 160 calories)

I use water or cold brew coffee when making shakes.  Used to use milk, but have cut it out.  Shakes taste great to me.
