I am about 2.5 weeks into the Keto diet. I have been staying within my allowed macros daily (even less than the allowed 15g carbs) and I have not lost any weight or gotten into Ketosis (not even a "trace"). I am very frustrated.... :(
I see all these pics of people that lose a lot of weight in just a few weeks - very encouraging. I just do not understand what I am doing wrong.
Not the usual but not unheard of. First, are you drinking enough water? Are you feeling hungry? Clearer thinking? These can be signs you are into ketosis before the urine ( or are you testing blood). I would recheck them I'm getting all my fats and there are no "hidden carbs" in your food. No sugar other than what is natural in some foods? Lastly just hang in, there are some people that go a month without weight loss, then have what's known as the Swoosh Effect, where they have a big drop. Make sure you aren't under too much stress and getting plenty of sleep. This too can effect weight loss.
