Hello from Houston!
Hi everyone!
I started my weight loss journey in early 2017, losing 35 pounds with HCG (I know - don't lecture...). Over the summer I gained about 8 pounds back, and just started a low-carb WOE to lose the remaining 30 pounds.
I've joined a couple of LCHF Facebook groups, and find the success pictures very motivating. I think this group will be a huge support for me, so I thank you all in advance!

I think the more support we can gather around us the better. We all start out needing help but surprisingly quickly can move on to offerIng it. I am into my 9th week Keto (& looking forward to when I no longer count weeks!) . Grab a fab coffee, put your feet up and have a browse through some old posts. Jump in & enjoy. wendyhallmark oh wow I lived & loved being there (aged 18-28) for 10 yrs many years ago..... it’s about 25 minutes from us and has a lot more traffic than we do 😀 do you have friends there? Otherwise I have to ask how does a Texas gal hear about Harrogate?

Joanna My husband lived there in the 1980s (his parents worked at Menwith Hill), and it holds very fond memories in his heart. I'm just glad Betty's is not on the corner of my town as I start my low carb journey!

What a small world. I was there 79-89 and only sold my house there a couple of years ago, a couple from Menwith Hill rented it for 4 yrs during that time.

Hi Wendy, I’m also in the Houston area. Way south in Santa Fe, Tx. 18 miles north of Galveston. I hope you survived Harvey ok. We are in the process of replacing floors.. but feel grateful it wasn’t worse. Our neighbors suffered far worse than we did.
I just restarted my LC journey on 10/30. It works for me if I stick with it. I’m looking at at least 20 pounds.
