I'm 59 years old, and just diagnosed with Diabetes. My goal is to reverse it so that I don't have to start meds, mine is mild, just slightly over the norm. I need to lose weight and watch my carbs/sugars. I don't really know where to begin. I don't know how many carbs, proteins, etc. that I should be eating. I would appreciate someone giving me some pointers.
