New to Keto - Went 3 grams over carbs today 🤨

I just started my Keto diet this week. Started feeling like I was in ketosis and clothes were fitting better. Then tonight, I went to a Cabi party, thought I did well with eating and drinking until I added everything up. Went 3 grams over my carb limit. Ugh. Does this mean I need to start over?

    Nope, it’s just 3g. The number of carb grams you can eat and be in ketosis varies for every one.  I can eat over 50 net carbs and still be in ketosis. So just keep going.

  • Sorry if you see this twice.  I don’t see my response.  As far as I understand, you should eat more fat and protein at those times, so your macros are carbs5%,fat70%,protien25%.

    Not a dealbreaker....it will come out in the wash.  The first time I did Keto - and I lost 30 pounds really fast - carbs were the only thing I tracked.  Some days might br 12, others 25.  I just checked my ketones to learn where my personal max line was.
