Deduct Calories When I Exercise. On or Off??

Been on the keto diet since Christmas and have lost 15 pounds so far. I've been active everyday (as best as possible) by using a treadmill. I snowboard every weekend or so and yesterday was a disaster. I had a regular breakfast as I always do and then went riding. By 9:30am, I was so hungry! I ate food just so I could ride and went way over my macros for the day. And I stayed hungry all day while on the mountain! I burned an extra 1000 calories or so. Should I have the "Deduct Calories When I exercise" on or off? I had it on early in my weight loss and I did not lose much. As soon as I turned this feature off, I started losing weight. Thoughts? I'm riding all week and don't want to mess up my weight loss!!!

  • Hi, I had the same question but really haven't gotten an answer.  My thoughts are if you are going to be extremely active that day and you know you will need more macros, then I would turn on the deduct calories.  Just so you don't go hungry and  get out of control.  Then  turn off the deduct calories on  less active days and see how that works.   Now I am only guessing this might work and not curtail any weight loss efforts in the long run.
