Low-Carb / High-Protein / Low-Fat Diet?

Does anyone know what this would do to my body? I’ve been sloppy keto for two years now and have actually gained a lot of fat around my midsection, I think, from overeating fats and/or not hitting my protein consistently. I need to continue to keep carbs under 30g for health reasons, but want to increase weight-training and burning fat for the upcoming year; I’m also just really aching to switch things up a bit (as, as I said... it’s been two years). 😳 Would my body mostly break the protein down into glucose for fuel, and start going back to running on carbs essentially..? Or would the low carb-ness keep me in ketosis? Does anyone know..? Thanks a bunch 🥳🤙

Yeah, too much protein would knock you out of ketosis.  Hear it isn't great for the kidneys, either.

Have you tried adding intermittent fasting? It helps me keep the total calorie count down for the day by skipping breakfast and having a late lunch, and if I had to bet I'd say going over on the calories is what's holding you back.
