Birthday cake?

So its my birthday tommorow, i was thinking a lot about the cake my family has ordered and how i can get away with not eating it or can i eat? I started keto last week and according to the scales ive lost 3ibs water weight... im keen to lose 1-2 stone and im scared il might stall. My family aint encouraging if i told them i was on Keto they most probably try to seduce me with sugary goods! 
 

has anyone cheated and still been able to lose weight?

  • I only cheated with a little sliver of red velvet cake and cream cheese frosting.  And I entered in the app. I find the app helpful as it discouraged my bad carb loading habits. Eating slow helps. Tea or coffee helps too. Drinking sparkling water helps. Non aspertame sugar free gum helps. But being around others whom don’t understand that this is for your health it’s not helpful.  And the anxiety over it isn’t helpful as it increases cortisol.  But hang in there breaking 1 day may 2-4 days to get back but you’ll be ok. Remember this is a gradual loss not a rapid loss .

    You will store all those carbs so expect to regain the water. It will set you back on getting fat adapted so expect more sugar withdrawals. Make a plan. If you cheat for a special occasion make sure you can get back on track or it was all for nothing.

    Hey guys thanks for the responses, ive been pretty worried about it but managed to get a cheesecake. I did eat a slice without the bottom or fruit. The ingredients was cream cheese, sour cream and some icing sugar ... i think i may have gotten away with it?? :)
