Sarah I did good this weekend except I had a few beers yesterday and now I read somewhere that alcohol can stall you out...we was out trail riding on the side by side so was pretty busy also...oh well no more beer for awhile 🤦♂️ But I did not cheat at all as of yet as far as snacks or sugar or extra carbs! And that’s ok you was busy as I said I like to talk...bad habit of mine 🤐

Beer is a hard one to give up, but hopefully worth it!
We were out on the lake all day...definitely did some snacking (keto approved) and it was hard to take in enough water, but it was so nice out!
No worries! I like chatting, but I'm also on summer break and once I go back to work I probably won't be around as much. Teaching will be different this year...hoping I can keep up!

Sarah yes it is a harder one to give up but not to bad...I don’t really drink a lot anyway just on the really hot days it tastes really good...
teacher...nice...it will be interesting for you this year I am sure with all this COVID junk running around ugh...not sure we will even be open for school here in Michigan yet and even if we are my son is considering the home school choice from our local school just to be safe

Sarah yes that’s true...you will just have to get thru it...I am sure it will all work out...well I finally caved tonight...my son passed his drivers training and got his permit so he wanted all of us to take him for ice cream...I had a really small scope in a bowl but it was sugar free at least...
that’s cool your husband is from Michigan...I am right in the middle of the state

Sarah yes it hard to resist...I read they have some keto ice cream out there called halo top but can’t seem to find any...so far besides the sugar free ice cream I have not cheated at all...10 days now...but hardly no weight loss yet...not sure what I am doing wrong or maybe it’s just to soon...weigh in tomorrow morning so hoping to see them move down! Thank you for chatting with me I enjoy it...and again when you have had enough just let me know

Well, I'm too nice to do that! .. :) But as I mentioned before, I will probably drop off a lot when school starts...life becomes, teach, eat, sleep, repeat!
I found some Rebel ice cream at Kroger (I don't think they have many or any in MI). I don't do dairy well, so I really shouldn't have, but didn't find out till later that SO Delicious has a coconut milk sugar free. I did notice my ketones dropped after the next couple days, but they went back up. Surprisingly, as delicious as the ice cream was, it was almost too sweet-that is saying a lot for me. I have a dangerous sweet tooth!
Have you noticed any differences from (looser clothes, more energy?). I dropped a bunch of water weight at first, but it's been very slow weight loss since then. I had to stop weighing all the time! :) If the scale isn't great, hopefully you can find other things/areas where you're seeing changes!

Sarah what are you using to check ketones?? I thought about a blood monitor but not sure...popcorn and ice cream are my things I am struggling with
so far I have not noticed much of a change at all on anything 🤷🏼 But not giving up...and when you get busy we can stop writing it’s ok I understand...I won’t bug you to often 😁

I've gotten ketone strips (found some at Walmart). They're highly debated on the other keto forum I browse, but it's helpful for me to see that something is happening for now.
Popcorn is one of my top 3 favorites along with ice cream. Chips and salsa are the other-this time of year is proving difficult because the garden is full of veggies perfect for making salsa!
I hope you do see some things soon to keep you going!

Sarah yep we are the same on the foods except my other one is pizza...but I still eat that but only scrap the toppings off I don’t eat the bread/crust
our garden is doing great also this year...so far so good...have been eating fresh broccoli and it’s so good!
i may get some of those strips Would be nice to see if something is happening I agree...
and I weighed in this morning and all of a sudden I am 6 lbs down in total!! Very happy

Sounds like a quite an enjoyable evening!
We had hot and humid here....:) Family picnic Saturday with cousins and a 12+ mile trail ride on bikes with hubby yesterday. We went slow...my legs were lead, but it was nice to ride along the river.
Feeling a bit off from the weekend and lots of things that are not clean keto, but hoping the bike ride and some cleaner choices this week will help me feel back on track...before we go to the lake this weekend (lots of food that's not great for keto!).

Sarah it was very nice but yesterday had to move the brother in law and it was very humid so not a lot of fun...and I did not do so great this weekend for keto...well I should say yesterday I did not do well but make up for it today...I do enjoy riding a bike I have a decent one and should start doing it more...seems like life is always so busy but that’s just another excuse I know...raining here now and it is making me sleepy

I was pretty wiped Monday from not sleeping well and the long bike ride (I think)...it was a nice afternoon for a nap! I'm taking advantage of the opportunity while I still can!
