No, you are changing your source of energy from glucose to fat/ketones. By using ketones for energy you are not storing the fat. Also by restricting carbs you are not spiking insulin all day and you are less hungry and eat less. Both result in weight loss. There are a lot of books, videos, podcasts that you can read to better understand. Being in ketosis doesn’t mean automatic weight loss.

Thank you very much for quickly replying to my post. I do have a problem getting enough calories because I’m just not hungry. For me this is the easiest lifestyle ever. I have been faithful to my macros give or take 5%. I will do my best to up the calories. The only thing I miss on Keto is my skim milk. I used to drink it on ice all day everyday. Other than weight loss a great benefit is much clearer and softer skin. I’m seriously amazed!
